The Crown Ambassador pin was created in 1977 as IBO achievements grew. Crown Ambassador & Founders Crown Ambassador are the two highest "official" pin qualifications an IBO can earn.
The Founders Crown Ambassador pin was created for FY 2002 as IBO achievements have exceeded company predictions. 2002 also so the introduction of the Founders Achievement Award FAA points system for diamonds and above to qualify for higher pins and qualifications. The FAA points system had been introduced in 1991 by Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel but until 2001, these FAA points merely accounted for bonuses and awards, not pin qualifications.
To qualify Crown Ambassador, an IBO need to sponsor 20 separate Platinum legs or qualify as a Diamond with 27 FAA Points. To qualify Founders Crown Ambassador, an IBO need to break 20 Founders Platinum (or Q12) legs or qualify for 30 FAA Points.
Below is a non exhaustive list of Crown Ambassadors. For Founders Crown Ambassador and above, see Founders Crown Ambassador.
