Qualification
According to Amway New Zealand, Diamond is an annual award for 6 or more personally, foster or internationally sponsored qualified legs, each qualified for 6 months within a Performance Year.[1] It is a local award, qualified separately in each market; since September 2021 only Executive Diamond and higher are global awards.[2] Amway's Performance Year 2026 guide for Europe and southern Africa states that Emerald to Founders Diamond pins there must be qualified with in-market legs, with legs anywhere in Europe counting as in-market.[3]
Earlier descriptions defined it as a qualified Platinum with 6 legs (3 of them in market) qualified at the Silver Producer level for at least 6 months of the Amway Fiscal Year.
According to IBO Sales Reports and IBO Earnings Reports, the average bonus and cash payments earned by a Diamond IBO in 2005 in the North American market was $146,995. The largest annual bonus earned by a Diamond IBO in 2005 was $1,083,421.
There were reportedly more than 4000 qualifying Diamonds in Amway globally in 2005.
