The award included a citation and a large-sized statue of Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, was presented by the Lt Governor of Delhi, Shri Vijai Kapoor. WBU is an apex body for the visually impaired that enjoys consultative status with the United Nations.

The Mayor of Surat - Snehlata Chouhan - presented a trophy and a certificate of appreciation.
