Casey Combden grew up in Toronto at the corner of Coxwell and Danforth. His father worked as a mechanic. He was a 25 year old night club DJ in Toronto. Around 1989 (according to an Amway tape) his friends sent him to an Amway meeting as a joke. At that meeting Casey met Dr. George Bryniawsky, Ron Goldman and others in the Great Lakes Network leadership. Casey recalls that night he was dressed in a leather tie, that became synonymous with his rise from "rags to riches". In 4 years Casey went from nightclub DJ to Diamond, qualifying in 1993 with his then wife Cathy. In 1997 Cathy & Casey Combden qualified as Executive Diamond. They later divorced and Casey is now married to Jeannie.
